Keane "Bedshaped" Depeche Mode "Somebody" Sixpence none the richer "Kiss me" Morcheeba "Rome wasn't built in a day".
Mostly ballads, but quite different from Deb ones. Not sure they would fit, but I'd love to hear her rendition of these. The Morcheeba song could have fit the BMS or Deborah album.

"Save The Best For Last" Vanessa Williams "Tonight, Tonight" Smashing Pumpkins (sound like a stretch, but could be done as a pop ballad)

All I can think of at the moment;
"All Systems Go" ~ Donna Summer. "People Are People" ~ Depeche Mode. "Ce Matin" ~ Axelle Red. "Sometimes" ~ Erasure. "Heart" ~ Pet Shop Boys.

If she had appeared on "Simply Mad About The Mouse" (1990)...
"A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes"
"Kiss The Girl"... a bit like "Shoop Shoop" song, ironically Cher did a cover of that song for the movie "Mermaids"

This reminds of that cover song thing Deb asked poeple too send songs too her last summer. We never heard whatever came of it. Deb did this in her fan club.

Ha, I can't remember the name of it but it's from Heart. The one where she goes out and gets knocked up by a stranger cause her hubbie can't get her pregnant. That would be funny to hear her sing a song like that.

I think the song is All I wonna do is make love too you Or all I wonna do something like that. Speaking of Heart I love the new Celine Dion cover of Alone. Erica Ha, I can't remember the name of it but it's from Heart. The one where she goes out and gets knocked up by a stranger cause her hubbie can't get her pregnant. That would be funny to hear her sing a song like that.

I'd like to hear her tackle Tiffany's "Could've Been" Can you imagine the press she'd get from that stunt?!!
I'd like to hear her do an old Gloria Estefan ballad like "Can't Stay Away from You" or "Words Get in the Way"
She should do a covers cd like Rod Stewart did lately. Although I've seen a lot of cover cds (Poison, any metal/hard rock band comes to mind), I think she'd have fun and have some luck selling it.
C'mon Deb, just do it!

A much older song , "It Had To Be You" Also many people have covered it like Frank Sinatra, Doris Day, and Betty Hutton (the version I heard) have recorded it and dates back to the 1920's by Sam Lanin & his Orchestra. Basic info from Answers.com

The song "I'm Like a Bird" from Nelly Furtardo. Her vocals just rub me the wrong way but I do think that's a good song. I would love to hear Deb do it. It seems very "her" too
