Least favorite Disney shorts...
"Education For Death", a rather disturbing and unsettling WWII propaganda cartoon featuring a German kid being brainwashed into being a Nazi.
"Lend a Paw", 1941 Academy Award winning short featuring Mickey, Pluto, and a little kitten that have beaten 8 cartoons that were nominated including "The Night Before Christmas" (MGM/Tom & Jerry), "Hiawatha's Rabbit Hunt" (WB/Bugs Bunny), "Superman" (Fleischer), and even Disney's own "Truant Officer Donald".
Technically most Pluto shorts are hit & miss to begin since he wasn't that good of a character to begin with. While the same could be said for Mickey, he was actually more adventurous and mischievous in the early cartoons.
There's many Silly Symphonies that tend to be either average or boring despite being well animated.

Oirginal Mighty Mouse cartoons from Terrytoons studios tend to range from "meh" to mediocre.

For some reason Boomerang have been airing made-for-tv Filmation shorts of the cat & mouse duo from 1980 on the Tom & Jerry hour.
One cartoon with Tom disguising as an alien had some potential, though considering cheap animation, standards & pratices, the cartoon stunk...
Well, atleast the original MGM Tom & Jerry cartoons also aired.

Did you ever see the ones made in either the late 70s or early 80s?

I have
I actually prefer the 1987/1988 incarnation from Ralph Bakshi, yes who also did "Fritz the Cat".
Despite that it lasted about two seasons since an episode featuring Mighty Mouse sniffing a crushed flower led to it's cancellation, many people who have worked on the show later went on to bigger things from Bruce Timm on "Batman: the Animated Series" and John Kricfalusi on "Ren & Stimpy".

" Good Vibes", which will air after the revival of "Beavis & Butt-Head" I'll give it a few episodes until it fades to obscurity...

Sounds like typical CW and some of the illfated teen dramas MTV aired, which I'm not into. More likely could be mediocre like "King of the Hill" if it becomes a series... sourceExclusive: MTV Developing Another Animated Series with "Beavis and Butt-head" Producers Nov 11, 2011 by Michael Schneider Heh-heh, you said development. Hot off the successful relaunch of "Beavis and Butt-head" MTV is teaming again with executive producers Mike Judge, John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky on another animated series. "Worst Friends Forever" revolves around besties Sandy, Brittany and Coral, who hover on the outskirts of popularity in their high school. In the meantime, their friendship is put to the test as they cope with cattiness and their teenage crushes. MTV has been pleased with the return of "Beavis and Butt-head", which debuted at the end of October with 3.3 million viewers. Last night's episode averaged a 1.4 rating among adults 18-34, beating NBC and CBS at 10 p.m. Animation was once a staple of MTV, and the network has been eager to get back into the game, having also launched the new animated series Good Vibes.

Now there's plans of a CGI Woody Woodpecker movie... Well, on the bright side the long overdue third volume of the DVD set could be released.

CGI is sort of like an over restored car. Sometimes restored cars can be either over done or they are too good, even better than the original. What happens is that you lose any of the character that the original had. In that respect CGI lacks the character and quality of hand drawn animation.

Worst of 2011: (Bob's Burgers) ...it's surprising that it's been given a second season ...anything but good (Problem Solverz) ... Probably the most cringe worthy Cartoon Network original since "Ed, Edd, and Eddy".

"A Christmas Story"
Not confused with the 1983 live action movie, but a forgettable early '70's Hanna Barbera special featuring a dopey dog and Elroy sounding mouse trying to deliver a letter to Santa. Haven't seen it until recently on Boomerang.

Boomerang aired a Cabbage Patch Kids Christmas special, which is basically typical '80's toy commercial slop.

"Roger Ramjet", just can't get into it. Not to mention the annoying theme song with "kids" in tune of "Yankee Doodle".
"Dick Tracy", which airs as filler on the KTV cartoon block, is lame. Not because it featured a Japanese caricature, but due to the fact it doesn't really have anything to do with the title character.
Though for early made-for-tv animation from the 1950's and early '60's, not theatrical shorts, it's probably a tie between "Clutch Cargo" and the tv version of "Felix the Cat".

"Felix the Cat: The Movie" It's pretty much a disgrace to an iconic cartoon character that was popular since the 1920's. While the original cartoons and comic books are known for their surrealism, the movie is very too mind boggling. Not in a good way. Plus, horrible animation and grating voice-overs.
