Not sure if I'd post a thread about the dumbest comments (based on a unrelated thread from another board) about Deb, but I've heard people who consider her a one hit wonder and even a few older adults (over 30) that never heard of her... though it depends on where they grew up or what they listened to..

Though the dumbest probably would be a lyric from a Weezer song that mentioned Deb after a referance to Tiffanys cover of "I Think We're Alone Now"

Anyone that calls Deborah a one hit wonder loses all credibility with me immediately.  By making a statement like that they've just proved that they have no knowledge of music history.

The person who told me that Deb was a one hit wonder was an authority figure... though at the same was weirded out by my musical taste since she would think I'm into rap or some pop singer with the intials B.S. or whatever

a highschool teacher   

Though she was in her  mid/later 30's during the early 2000's.

Then she was a high school teacher that didn't know her stuff.  I've known a few of them before.
