I know there's not much info (besides being a pop/rock and working with Cinderella drummer Fred Coury) and won't be released anytime soon, but what type of album would you like to see Deb release?

I've listed three "joke suggestions" under 'Other'.

I wouldn't mind seeing Deb releasing an album featuring cover songs  like Mandy Moore or Poison and  Christmas songs featuring traditional carols and originals.

Though highly very  unlikely,  there should be an 'anthology' boxset with hits, mixes, B Sides, rarities, and a DVD featuring her music videos and old/new performances. Grin

A DVD, also unlikely but some of her videos could appear on those random video compilations like "Only In My Dreams" in 'Essential Music Videos: Pop Hits". Atlantic or Rhino could atleast release "Live In Concert: The Out of the Blue Tour" video.

I voted for "other."  I would like to see another dance/pop album.  She excells at that and ballads.

ditto, though I was thinking more of 'specialty' albums or with a theme

Pop and ballads. Deb does the best ballads ever... And when I say pop, I have the "butterflies are free" style in mind, something more mature than EY or red hot.
No rock please, it's not Deb style (neither vocally nor musically).

"Moonchild" is a pop rock song. Also "We Could Be Together", "Comes Right Back", and "Naked".

Then again, I tend to generalize music genres too much  Roll Eyes

I personally don't think she has this in mind as a project.

YMMV of course, but I wouldn't call Moonchild a rock song. The only rock song she did was Don't you want me now, IMO. Good song, but not really Deb style.

Another thing I can't picture Deb doing is Gwen Stefani type pop (ie "Holla Back Girl") since she would look ridicilous.

Ironcially, Stefani's a year older than Deb despite being "trendy" and appealing mostly to the youth demographic. Though both are far different musically since she's from No Doubt and is influenced by ska, new wave, and some hip hop.

Could you imagine Deb doing an Emo Album? Hahahahahahhahahaah!
I picked Jazz cause they do have some really soulful music and she would put her own flavor on it and really blow it out of the ballpark!
Another broadway album wouldn't be so bad either. I really like Colored Lights although I would have preferred an orginial album.
I'm guessing ya'll saw on her website that her next album is a cross between Gwen and someone else I can't remember. I'm thinkin' kinda like Famous/dance music. Gosh, I can't wait!

No Doubt's OK, though wasn't into the band and I found Gwen weird in the late 1990's. But most of her solo hits are annoying and feel as if she's trying to be 18 years old with her fashion.

She have said her album would have a bit of a  theatrical rock sound. Guessing a throwback to classic rock or atleast pop rock (ie Kelly Clarkson, Michele Branch).

Yeah, I can't get into Gwen either. I'm thinkin' Debs next album will be really dancey with some ballads thrown in. It would be cool for her to try the rock thing. Kinda like Kelly Clarkson.
