Though I first heard of Deb in 1997, I didn't buy her albums until 1999.

Ironically, I had a bit of a crush on her during the same time as a certain trashy pop princess. I've also weirded out many adults back then with my musical tastes...   Roll Eyes

Honestly, I don't consider myself that big a fan (well, I am, but not the hardcore type nor a casual fan that just likes a few songs) since  I'm more into her music and indifferent towards her theatre/acting work and only have albums (some vinyl, CD, cassettes, video tapes).

I started in 1999.

My sister had the EY tape and made up her own dance and I found it cool.

Shortly after I was at my library and they had the EY maxi single and I liked that too.

I started buying Deb albums and ta da! I am a Deb-head for sure till they day I die.

I've also penned my pen-name to by book 'Gibson' after Deb and I dedicated my book, "Ugly Eliza and the Sunken Ship" to the woman herself.

Becoming a Deb fan since 1987, the release of OOTB album. She came to Malaysia for concert in 1991 and the other two visits were promo of Body Mind Soul in 1993 and Think With Your Heart in 1995. She is the sweetest person and I took a pic with her.

One of my most tresured moments. Still a huge fan till to date.  Wink
