At 25 minutes, it's still a decent debut video tape featuring Deb's first 4 music videos and interview bits of Deb, her old band, dancer Buddy Casimano, and her momager Diane Gibson.

The interview segments of Deb were fun to watch and informative, which she talked about being a young singer/songwriter, info about the songs/music videos (ie wrote "Only In My Dreams" at 13), and her family (ie sisters working for her and some cameos in some of her videos).
She appeared down to earth, very appealing, and talked as if she's talking straight to the viewers. Doubt it would be on DVD anytime soon...
Music Video Reviews:
Only In My Dreams
Her debut video from her debut album "Out of the Blue". Basically a fun video featuring Deb on the beach & a few carnival rides. Music videos aren't they they used to be anymore.
Shake Your Love
Her second single from "Out of the Blue", which the video was choreographed by Paula Abdul and featured dancers (including Robia LaMorte from the tv version of "Buffy"), a classic car, and bright colors. A typical fun '80's dance pop video.
Out Of The Blue
Title track from her debut album. The video featured her relatives Monica & Denise and Jeff Russo, who later became one of the members of Tonic. Also a fun video with Deborah flipping through her scrap book with images moving. And first video to feature her trademark black hat.
Foolish Beat
Beautifully done classic from Deb's fourth single from 'Out of the Blue', which made her the youngest artist to write, produce, & record a #1 hit. The video also shows her acting, which she was actually crying in one scene. Should've been nominated for a Video Music Award in 1988. About "Future Goals" she mentions towards the end of the tape...
Write for other artists... Well, she did wrote songs for prototype Disney Channel act The Party, actress/singer Jennifer Love Hewitt, and recently for "Robbie Ray Montana"... though not sure if the song's in his recent album
A duet with Billy Joel... She did perform with him and Elton John in Madison Square Garden, which they performed "Lucy With The Sky With Diamonds". Don't think it was recorded or televised.
Acting & directing... Well, she does act in musical theatre and did a few indie movies. Directing... not sure besides co-directing her "Electric Youth" video. She have written a musical titled "Skirts", which was originally supposed to be a film she was to star in but got scrapped and co-wrote "The Flunky".
Still writing & performing music... true
What would've been better is if they were to included a "behind the scenes" segment of one of her videos like "Foolish Beat" and the video for the "Out Of The Blue" remix.
Though Deb was only well known for about a year when the tape was released sometime in mid 1988 (probably before the release of "Staying Together").
comment about Deb's interview bits:
On the comments about music videos, she made a comment about having fans as young as 4. Ironically I was 4 in 1988, though was more into "Muppet Babies" at the time. Wasn't familiar with Deb until the later 1990's...
