Gibson's Crazy Fan Not Only in Her Dreams

Deborah Gibson's crazaziest fan is also a speed freak on the road!

TMZ spoke to Gibson, who filed a restraining order against Bassas Jorge Puigdollers today. She said the guy not only drove to her show in Texas on Saturday night, but within an hour of her landing in Los Angeles on Sunday he was outside her home!

Gibson says Puigdollers has been following her around the country and sending her letters for over six years, but that the obsessive behavior reached a very uncomfortable level after he turned up at her L.A. home several times -- and wouldn't leave -- in one week. She says she filed the restraining order because, "I feel my safety is in jeopardy."

Deborah tells us the alleged nut is in his mid-forties, lives in Spain and even left his wife to follow Deb around the country. Good news for his spouse -- not so much for Gibson.

Gibson is getting ready for a month long stint at Harrah's in Atlantic City and will be running her Camp Electric Youth youth art's camp in Hollywood this summer and prays there'll be no more uncomfortable incidents with Puigdollers. Hopefully, that's no foolish beat!

Theres a reply to the story suggesting that she's maybe a little paranoid. I know she has to be careful and everything but i think hes quite harmless. How did he get her home address?

Also, not wanting to sound like a stalker myself, but I'm reading the restraining order (isn't the internet amazing!!). She says he threatened violence, but dosen't give details, so if thats true shes obviously not being paranoid!

Also, isn't her signature different to her autograph. Strange!

No it looks normal but you have too think about this way she I am sure was very frazzled at the time.  So just hurried up and signed it to get things moving.

Looks like there will be 5 instead of 6 people at Atlantic City now.

I don't know who this person is, but I have heard that he is a harmless fan who has met Deb a gazillion times.  He needs therapy to realize that he is NOT her friend or that she remotely cares about him.  Deb is not interested in her fans and no matter how nice she is to you, she could care less about you.  You are only a fan people and that is all you will ever be.  Do not go to her house, do not think she cares about you if she is nice to you, and certainly do not think that by traveling around to see her live around the world (HA HA) she will care about you.  NO.  You will just be on security's list.

I agree with this. Living down the street from one of the New Kids on the Block opened my eyes to this craziness. People just show up at a celebrity's house, like it's the most normal thing to do. Then, if they're nice to you (which is usually an attempt to send you on your way, far, far away from their homes), the fans think the celebrity likes them. It's bizarre. I don't understand that mentality. There's a time and a place to meet a celebrity -- and their home isn't it.

Well either way I thought it was cool to see Deb's name on the front page of My Yahoo site. No such thing as bad publicity. And Jordi apparently met her a bunch of times but going to her house is way out of line. She's a performer, not a friend!

Maybe this publicity will sell 2 more tickets to Atlantic City and I am sure that Jordi cannot get a refund from his ticket(s) that he bought.  I guess it may be true that no publicity is bad publicity.

I am not saying that Deborah should not have taken this action.  Jordi will hopefully post on here his side since someone above said he posts on here.  Should be interesting to hear.

WOW!  He bought tickets to a lot of shows according to one of his posts.  His name on this forum is JORDI and it has pics of him and Deb.
