"Guys Like You" and "The Flunky"

now mentioned on her blog

"Guys Like You" is the second track from the setlist from the site. Enjoyed the song.  Cool

If it goes well, perhaps Deb could get a Tony for playwriting.  Grin

From official site of the musical
Quote
The Flunky The Musical is a hilarious story about a guy (Jackie Baker) who lives the life of the rich and famous and gets all the perks that come with it by charming celebrities and moving into their guesthouses. Everything goes wrong when he befriends and moves into the guesthouse of an insane aging rock-star (Tyler Mann). Things get worse when they fall in love with the same girl and even worse when he winds up taking the rap for a murder he didn’t commit. Things change when the love of Jackie’s life (Sandra) gets him to realize his potential and he decides to become his own man. Can Jackie become the rock-star? Can the rock-star become HIS flunky?

It will start way off Broadway but if it gets enough buzz it can move up.  I do think she's going to have to get it in New York if it's really going to get more publicity.

Problem is, is there someone willing to give it a chance? Good Vibrations flopped despite the fact that "jukebox musical" had Beach Boys songs in it, and Deb isn't a musical icon or a hot property at the moment.
