I just went to deborah-gibson.com and got the following message:

This site is under construction and coming soon.
This domain is registered with network solutions.

Thank you Patty for letting me know about this. Does anyone know what is going on with the official site?

I'm working on a new layout for deb-ski.com, one or two testers have seen an early version of it. That's all I'm saying.

It's a bit amature to take a whole site down to update it.

Hi friends, it looks a new era.
Time ago with Jourdyn and Penny all was another thing, everything was better. But  one or two years ago, everything is going down in this web and lot of fans has gone.
If you look at her MySpace, you will see changes too, it looks better now.
Hope everything is going well for Deb and her staff.
Jordi.

the thing about it is i have had a personal website myself and used my own space to upload music videos pics and graphics pretty much like you do Dariuz right?

The thing i notice about all celebs now including new kids and deborah and all them is that they use sites like facebook, myspace, photobucket to upload there pics and then code them too show up on their regular website so they don't have to use much space on their own bought sites.

Myspace is where all popular and unpopular new and old musicians can be found. I have found alot of great musicians from myspace.

That's true Patty.  But I believe there should still be an official place.  It seems more professional that way.  But that's just my opinion.  I could throw out several parallel examples, but I don't wish to undermine Deborah's decisions.

we are talking about generation now that can't live with out myspace, facebook, youtube, etc. My daughter is of that generation. She is 11 years old is about the same age I was when I first started liking Debs music.

These are all just online communities. I have had many of Debs camp electric youth competitors request to add me to their list and these are young girls like my daughters age.

I found this last night ............ http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.deborah-gibson.com/

I seen that when Deborah released MYOB in 2001 is when she updated her offical website then she didn't updated it again until November 22,2002 to the site that has been up for 6 years til here last few weeks.

I got on the internet in 2001 but the internet was so slow then I didn't keep up with much deb news for few years . So I don;'t remember until atleast 2002-2003 going to this debs site and seeing the new layout and all.

Maybe Debs got new material maybe new album or maybe she feels it was just time to release new layout. Who knows.

I didn't even started watching YouTube until recently.

Though agree that MySpace is useful for artists to promote their material with pictures, tour dates, videos/song downloads, etc. Personally not a fan since it's known to have many weirdos (predators, spammers, con artists) and takes time to load.
