Does anyone know what is going on with the official Deborah website, it seems to be down for an awful long time now. Have they given up on the site altogether and just registered the name so nobody else takes it?

I am sure that the people who ran it decided that they had enough of working with Deborah and Diane and decided not to do the page anymore.   Dariusz, if you want to do the page, with all of the craziness that goes along with it and deal with Deborah and Diane, I am sure they would let you do it.

Yeah no one knows what's going on DGIF fans and non DGIF people.   Everyone really is in the dark.

Deborah Gibson and her "momager" Diane are fools for letting the official web site go down.  It is like they want Deborah's career to disappear.  Diane, I have some advice for you:  Put the web site http://www.deborah-gibson.com back up!

PS:  What is Diane's last name these days?  I used to know it.

Just to ask, how much does it cost to keep a decent website up and running?  Is it expensive?  I hope that the situation is not that Deborah and Diane can not afford a website.  That would be a real shame.

One more thing:  Deborah does have a Myspace site.  That is how I learned about Camp Electric Youth running again.

How much to keep a website, it depends on what you want to do, how much traffic you expect to get, and of course paying for the name of the website. But somewhere up to US$100* a year would seem about right. After that it's the work people put into the site. The site itself is peanuts, especially for a multi-millionaire.

First of all, thank you for the information Dariusz.  I feel that if keeping a web site "broadcasting" costs $100.00 per year, http://www.deborah-gibson.com should have something there.

One more thing.  We all are assuming that Deborah is a wealthy woman.  Maybe we are wrong.  Maybe she does not have that much money.  (I hope I am wrong about this.)

I just did a "deborah gibson" smart web search, and instead of the usual redirect to the official website, it now redirects to the "Debbie Gibson" wiki page. I guess google are now treating the official site as dead. Looks like despite having loads of possible photo or video material, she's given up on having an official site.

Letting Deborah's official web site go down is very poor management by Deborah's manager, Diane Gibson.  It makes me question her competence to manage anyone with an entertainment career.

I think that it's still going to be around because if it was just being discontinued all together then I think when you went to it you would get that "Internet Explorer can not display this page" thing.
