Previous forum users to new forum: USER NAMES

There are a few users trying to login to their accounts but the forum is asking them to validate their user name by clicking a link in an email that will be sent to the user. If the email address given previously was invalid or out-of-date, then the email will never get to you.

If you are such a user, and you would like to keep your old user name, sign up to the forum and then login and send me a personal message, I will then be able to compare the IP of your previous logins to the new account, and change your email address in the old account which you will then be able to validate. I will then delete the new account when you have validated the old account.

Sounds long winded, but validating emails is a way to keep the spammer problem to a minimum.
