I know she's been working on "The Flunky" for a long time so it's good to see that it's making progress.

IM: Are you working on any new recordings?

Gibson: I have been writing lots of new stuff. I want to come out with a bang with my next release like when Tina Turner reclaimed her spot at pop radio with "What's Love Got to Do With It"

That is a good actitud... i hope that new record come out soon..

well she also said in an interview last month she wants to come out with a Tina Tuner like comeback someday so don't hold your breath for a new album in 09.  She been giveing the same old run around for years now. No I am not being a hater I am just being honest.

I would rather her take the time to get a good record deal and take the time to work on an album rather than churn them out in short order like some do.
