Deborah Guests on Lifetime’s "Rita Rocks"

Tune in Monday, January 12, at 8:30 pm (ET/PT) on Lifetime for Deborah's special guest appearance on the Lifetime sitcom, "Rita Rocks" starring Nicole Sullivan, Tisha Campbell-Martin and Richard Ruccolo. In the upcoming episode "Old Friends," Deborah plays Rita's college friend Cindy, and former Bangles-cover band mate who returns years later to apologize for leaving the band the night of their most important gig. Sullivan stars as Rita Clemens, an over-worked wife and mother in the middle of a full-blown identity crisis. After being passed over for a promotion at work, Rita, at her wit's end, dusts off her old guitar and forms a garage band with her nosy postal carrier Patty (Campbell-Martin).

Never heard of it, though know Nicole Sullivan was on "Mad TV" and Tisha Cambell-Martin was in "Martin" (ironically, her husband's last name is Martin).

Might check it out, though don't watch Lifetime.

I actually wouldn't mind if Deb's on "30 Rock".  Grin

I know Tisha was also on the Damond waynes show a couple years ago. I think it went off the air with in the last year or two.

Wonder if there's a "flashback" scene? (ie like "Grounded For Life") Would be interesting...

Checked IMDB, it's fairly recent and Raviv "Ricky" Ullman  (no relations to Tracy) from "Phil of the Future" is also on the show. Guess he plays the son, though the actor's actually around my age.

the show isn't that good reminds me of another type of That 80s show cheesy kind of show Deb was on last.  This show will be lucky too last.  I just hopes Deb's episode is better then this weeks.

I liked the "That 80's Show" episode Deb appeared in, though agree that the show was dumb.

edited: I was referring to "That 80's Show", though have never heard of "Rita Rocks" until I read this thread a few days ago.

Oh this show sounds cheesy already Deb's character and Rita reconnect through face book there old college friends.  I looked it up on my tv guide timewarner DVR channel thing found that.   This weeks drama was over a training bra that the mail lady bought.

Saw a few clips on YouTube and it looks bad and Nicole Sullivan isn't as funny like she was in "Mad TV", though that was a sketch comedy show and "Rita Rocks" is a generic  sitcom.

Might watch it for Deb and atleast it's not that show Billy Ray Cyrus and his kid stars in...
