Wondering if it'll be merchandising and a board that could be viewed by anybody...

Deb video message

She talkes about the "Deborah" album, reading comments, new material/exclusive download/music video (would write title, but I'll say that it's produced by Fred Coury of Cinderella. Don't want to spoil to those that haven't watched the video message)...

"Sock Puppet" (an internet alias from the comments) was mentioned   Grin Cheesy

Deb did mention his name either in end of 2007 or sometime in 2008 in radio interview about her working with him so now that she has mentioned him again and releasing this new song it should be interesting.

Also remember and also producer Neal Pogue, which don't know if she actually worked with or didn't.

I think she did work with Neal Pogue but they eventually went in two different directions.

probably true

Pogue worked with Outkast, Pink (guessing  when she was marketed as an R&B singer), and TLC.

It's also great that her later material are released on Itunes since they're really hard to find. Granted that I found them in bargin bins and used CD stores, but now very hard to come by (besides her first two albums).

I highly doubt it, but  vinyl & CD reissues would be cool.

I wonder if she'll get any new fans. More likely nostalgic adults and those curious about her music and into adult contemporary.

As for a board, if there's one that's visible, I'd just read since I would really be out of place (from the comments I've read) I don't know much about the music industry (besides what I read/hear from magazines & TV) nor have talent, don't look deep into things (takes me a while), have no real nostalgia value, and generation/cultural gaps.

Ironically could be said for the nostalgia board...except that most tend to be more immature than myself and several have a tendency to argue for no real reason  Roll Eyes

Official Merchandise

Shirts, mugs, pins, and post cards.

Don't know why the "Electric Youth" logo looks fafed, probably to make it look old or something.

I wonder if it'll accept money orders and if there's anything worth it like a video compilation.

Wouldn't be suprised if the items are costly (like on the original incarnation of the site and everywhere else).

Just for the heck of it I was looking around to see what they offer. Lots of T-Shirts. Hmm its seems most of the fans remaning would not be one to wear a Debbie Gibson T-shirt in public. Most of us are now in our late 30's early 40's I can only imagine the comments one would get if they wore such a T-shirt. Instead of this old school stuff how about some CD's or DVD's of some of her live concerts or some new matieral.

Also I see they are having a benefit for Camp EY. VIP tickets $250. Now maybe it is just but I think it should be the parents who are the ones donating this money for their kids to go to this camp.

This seems a bit cheezy to me. With the economy the way it is especially in California where the event is being held I think this is alot of money to ask people to donate to people they don't even know. It will be intersting to see how much they will charge for tickets for those that just want to attend the performance and not the VIP option. I am all for teaching kids about music and performing but I think it should be the parents of the campers who pay the tuition.

Agree that it should be DVDs and CDs. Especially music videos.

I got  a Natasha Bedingfield shirt last year from my first concert and never wore it.
