Was more into "Power Rangers" & pogs...

While I like  the song "Basket Case", I wouldn't consider it as the best video of the year.
"Sabotage" from  Beastie Boys should've been  #1, IMHO.

VH1 TOP 50 of 1994  

The oldest VH1 year end countdown I could find online, though they were still an adult contemporary station at the time. Obiviously much different than MTV's. Though in 1996, both channels ranked Alanis Morissette "Ironic" as #1 in their year end countdowns.

Didn't watch VH1 until around 1996 (more regularly in 1998), it appears accurate to what was shown during the mid/late 1990's. A far cry from the E!/MTV clone it is for nearly a decade...
