I really think the event will be canceled. Unless she has a contract that states tickets sales do not matter.

I kind of doubt it will be cancelled. The casino always holds back a lot of tickets for events that they give away to guests of the casino and for promotional offers. Only a percentage of them are available to the general public. Even if the venue is only half full they still at least break even on it. If they were to completely cancel a three week booking then that empty theater is going to cost them money instead of make them money. They have to keep events in there for it to turn a profit for the casino. Even if they don't sell evey ticket they can use the unsold ones as a write off.

I hope so! It would be embarassing to celebrate 20 years as the youngest artist to BLAH BLAH BLAH with a canceled gig due to poor sales.

Yes, tickets are selling very slow. but keep in mind that the shows are 4 months away and they're not even being advertised on Harrah's website yet. The only people that really know about it are people who are on her myspace list. The majority of her fans are on the east coast, close enough for a quick weekend trip to Atlantic City. There's nothing to worry about...yet

No offence, but do most people give a damn about youngest artist to Blah blah...? It's just useless trivia to most people and not a way to sell anything.

who knows those annoying people who come up too you when your on street corners or at tourist areas asking you do you want to view there timeshares. Alot times in Vegas they have offered me show tickets as a gift for viewing a timeshare. The shows no one cares about or please don't get pissed off for me saying this. Has been acts that no one cares about seeing. Those tickets might fall into something like that if sales don't pick up.

oh they will fall into many categories. remember, I heard from a VERY reliable source that BB KINGS (and Foxwoods) did not sell out and BB KINGS had tickets for sale at TKTS! That is sad!
we'll see what happens. i hope it works out for her. I am not going!

If BB Kings didn't sell out then it must have been one ticket that went unsold. I know someone that was there and he said it was full.

There were about 3 empty seats and about 15 tickets sold through TKTS for DISCOUNTED PRICE (yes Times Square discounted tickets) for BB KINGS. That is coming from a VERY reliable and trusted source.
BB KINGS only holds like 500 people and Deborah had friends, business associates, and family there (who knows if they paid or not).
If she cannot sell out a 500 seat venue for ONE NIGHT in NYC this 3 week stint in Atlantic City seems to be a stretch.
