Thank you Patty yes that's all I want is repsect from my coworkers who I see daily five days a week, Eight hours a day, Fourty hours per pay period.  Plus I might not have mention I work at one of the nations top Children's pedatric transtplant and Cancer Research Hospitals.  So yeah that poping up on my myspace not looking good on a reflection of me. Plus I take pride in my page for all my photos on there of all the travels I have done.  I get alot great comments from coworkers, friends, family even cousins on my top friends page I have never met.  Oh I don't know if this makes anything better but I do have a gay cousin and I support him in whatever he does.

None of us have to answer for Deborah, she's perfectly capable of doing that for herself.  I look at it that if a person has a problem of me being a fan of her's or something that she does, that's their problem and not mine.  I don't have to justify it to anybody.  People that love to pass judgments on others are usually the most guilty and are doing it to deflect attention and possible judgement away from themselves.  If you don't think that's true put it to the test and see what you will find.  When it comes down to it I think some people are making this out to be much bigger than it really is.  Technically she's naked but she isn't showing anything.  Check out some of those celebrity photo shoots for FHM and other magazines.  Some of those aren't exactly in good taste and show much more than they should.  Some of the poses are trashy and boarderline vulgar.  Especially when you see a barely 18 year old doing something like that.

I just think the photo is cheaply hilarious. This made-at-home thing is getting funny.

I did remove Deborah off my top friends on myspace for the time being.

When all is said and done, Deborah is 38 and can do whatever she wants.

Hi gang. Nice T-shirt with funny Deb's picture. Well I think she doesn't show anything bad in her body.
She has her reasons to do it and I agree her.
I'd buy it to help Deb and her iniciative but now is not a good time to do it.
I have no her pic in my MySpace, but for another reason, she doesn't add me, lol.
While, be good fans and respect Deb and her funny ideas.
I agree all your coments, eveybody is a different world.
Jordi.

I dont care that she's naked, the picture is terrible. Even though I'm a huge fan, the picture is more of a novelty item.

Noone wuld take me seriously if I wore it.

 thank u ootb for this

People that love to pass judgments on others are usually the most guilty and are doing it to deflect attention and possible judgement away from themselves

I am not going to use this forum to debate anyone on gay/straight relations... The closed-minded are not gonna be swayed on a DG forum..

but as far as the T goes... it was something quickly put together by debs peeps for LA gay pride last weekend, to help show support for a group of  people who have supported her... its not like they were tring to recreate the mona lisa..

lol at the world

statement by deborah from her site:

"Glad (most of) you like the new tee shirt! It reflects my feelings on Prop 8 being an issue in a fun and carefree way. I wanted to make a statement and do a takeoff on the anti-fur campaign."

The ironic thing is that I wouldn't have liked it very much if she had done an ad for PETA because I don't think they are an upstanding organization.

Deborah, my dear, I been a fan for over 10 years, and Ima treat you like I do my friends....with honesty. I ain't gonna lie your pic on that t shirt was terrible. I'll support you in your music which is AMAZING, but if you're going to be in the music industry with a new CD, don't represent yourself like that. My friends are still making fun of me for that picture you did. I'm a fan for like tho.

That t-shirt makes me wanna http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Scream ........

How many PR stunts does Deborah need before realising that they don't work (for her)?

Did she also try to release a CD called "Naked Two, too" off the back of it? /sarcasm

So she's lucky to have a reasonable body at her age, but the picture itself is nothing special, (just as the Playboy ones weren't - someone already brought that idea into this thread), not alluring, not chique, a nothing photograph - and photoshop'd.  And of the idea of a t-shirt, most her fans are waaay past the teen years of buying such stuff, so who is it aimed at?
