Yeah but I was just at the Rock Hall and they have a big display on Bruce upstairs.  Bruce named one of his albums Asbury Park.  I also believe he is from Asbury Park as well.  Some lady gave me this story of it and as she was telling me  it I was thinking wasn't Deb's video only in dreams filmed there.  She said she was there now two weeks ago the boardwalk is still there but not much else is.

Part of that complex has been torn down.  The decades of neglect, salt air, and hurricanes had taken a toll too great to overcome.  Those buildings are a part of that time in the early 20th Century when this country was really begining to establish itself and are now almost all gone.  Buildings like that are rare away from the east coast.  Asbury Park used to be a major tourist destination but it really fell into decay about 40 years ago.

I think there was also an episode of "The Sopranos" that was filmed there.

Is anyone else getting a screen that says "Database Error" after they make a post?
