Online Hollywood Movies: Yesterday Was A Lie - Release Date: 11 December 2009
Director: James Kerwin
Starring: Kipleigh Brown, Deborah Gibson, John Newton, Mik Scriba, Nathan Mobley, Warren Davis

Sounds like another indie flick. Though not listed on the IMDB and wasn't mentioned on the official blog or interview (that I've heard/read).

Or maybe another actress with the same moniker (very unlikely, but a possibility)

More likely a mistake since I found the title at the IMDB, looks as already completed a while ago (which she would've mentioned), and Deb's not listed in the credits.

I remember she was going to be in that movie a couple of summers ago.  Apparently there were problems getting things off the ground and it wasn't clear if the movie was even going to be made or not.  Delays began to add up and since Deborah wasn't getting any firm commitments from them she had to move on to other projects that she already had committed to.

I'd love to see Deb in a really cool role in a great movie - like Lorraine Bracco's role in Goodfellas. Or Uma Thurman's role in Pulp Fiction.

I find it hard to believe that Deborah hasn't been offered a major movie role before, at least not since "Cry Baby."  I'm going to play that "no respect" card but I really think it has a lot to do with the built-in prejudice that some people in the entertainment business have for her.
