I'm not Deblly.

This is funny it has taken me 18 years to see almost a full performance of Deb from Rockin Rio 2.  I remember when it orginally aired the only performance I saw was only in my dreams.  That was when Deb was starting to be not cool enough for MTV they would invite her to major things like this but wouldn't either air her or just air some small clip or one performance of her.

That was about the time that anybody that had released an album or had any level of success in the 80s at all was suddenly not cool enough for MTV.  That's about when MTV started jumping the shark too.

Out of the pop singers from the era, MTV only kissed up to in the 1990's Madonna, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, and to an extant Whitney Houston.

MTV only kisses up to whatever's the flavor of the month and by the early 1990's rap  (especially gangsta rap) and alternative/grunge  became mainstream or very popular... Though now it's mainly about spoiled brats and other reality tv  junk... Personally, they jumped in 1992 when "The Real World" made it's debut and became worse over the years until it became unwatchable around 1997/1998. I started to watch more VH1, which jumped around 2002 and VH1 Classics...which is now mostly classic rock (Where's the variety?) and rejected VH1 specials.

List of rtists who performed in Rock In Rio II

There's now performances of New Kids posted.

Interview from a tv show from Japan abour Electric Youth tour (1989/1990)

About performing the Motown medley/Motown music, performing concerts, influences, her work, and "Skirts" (I still find it odd that it was to be directed by Kenny Ortega...who directed bad movies like "Hocus Pocus" and that Disney Channel franchise...)

First single she bought was Elton John's "Crocodile Rock"
