I saw on Deb's twitter there was an announcement on the website. Excited, i went to view it. deb looked beautiful, but the announcement was about a 'Camp EY Auction'. am I the only one who dosen't give a S*#T about Camp EY, or Gibson Girl?

How long can she hang on to the few fans she has left without giving us new music? Colored Lights wasn't a Debbie Gibson album, it has been a DECADE since MYOB. COME ON DEB!!!!! I'm losing interest...fast!

The main reason is because she hasn't had an album deal.  Rumors are that she has either signed with a major label or is about to.

Amen brother I was thinkng of making the same remark I could careless about Camp EY and Gibson Girl.  What is really sad to me I just came back from a 3 day weekend in Las Vegas.  I saw two great shows.  I saw Donny and Marie Saturday night.  I ended up having VIP seats which I didn't realize was something special besides have middle table seats.  When I came in I was handed a laminated Donny and Marie backstage pass.   They were both very nice too meet.  You get  professional photos taken with them and they hit you up at the end to buy them.  I think I spent 50 dollars for two pics.  Sunday I saw Cher  she put on a great show I didn't meet her or anything just went to a regular concert.   So after my weekend while waiting in Salt Lake City, UT to change planes.  I saw Deb's message I thought cool I can't wait to get home.  I was thinking new music, maybe Broadway somthing huge.  Nope wrong that stupid auction.  It really annoying how she blows everything up to be something huge.

She should release some songs, just her and the piano, on iTunes, in the interim of everything.  She can work on the songs at her home and record them as cheap as possible.  We all love songs where it is just her and the piano.  I do not know why she does not do this.  But, like the rest of you, I have almost lost interest.  I don't need crappy jeans from any celebrities.  The Gibson Girl Foundation?  So, she has a camp, makes money for the foundation, to give the money to her camp?  Camp EY is great for kids.  Do the fans really care about it or do they want music?  I think the answer is music!

Million I totally agree with you on this. The once and only time I went into Deb's auction on person was bidding on her jeans but I am like you who wants other people's clothing. Bring on the new music Deb we have been waiting what seems like forever.

record them as cheap as possible.

No way, recipe for disaster. And why for ? To temporarily satisfy the hunger of a few hundreds of fans spread across the World ? She already has her hands full this summer with the summer camp, the circus thing (for which she might've started rehearsals) and probably some gay pride concerts.

It's a recipe for disaster because doing some cheap stuff for us fans is purely and simply at the opposite of what she is as a person and as an artist. Would there be anything to be a fan of after that ?

With that said, man I would love to get some new music from her but not at any cost.

So no way !

Just putting out anything really wouldn't be a good thing for her to do.  I would love to see a new album come out and have been wanting one for years but there is a legitimate and real reason why one hasn't come out.  If everything was lined up right for her she probably would have put out two albums or maybe even three in the time since her last one.  But, when a new album does come out I know some of the same people that have been really beating that drum hard about a new album will totally trash it when it does drop.  Just wait and see, I can almost promise that will happen.

Oh, I'm ready to wait for years to get a new Deb album. Problem is that the more I wait, the more I lose excitment about it and I may not bother that much the day it's really out.
it will depend a lot on the music, too. Some "classic" Deb (pop, ballads) would be great, but I wouldn't care about "mainstream", like RnB. I don't need another Beyonce or Christina clone, even if that kind of music could possibly sell. Or not.

Wow!  You guys have no clue of how Deborah writes.  Some of her best works only took 15 minutes to write.  Some of her best work is just her and the piano.  I did not say that Deborah should not work hard on the pieces.  I said just her and the piano and record it cheaply.  BIG DIFFERENCE!  I am stunned at what people write on this board.

Think with your heart is a fan favorite.  the demos were admited to be just deb and the piano.  deb toured just her and the piano at borders and a few other promotional gigs.  the songs were amazing just her and the piano.  that is the calibre I am talking about.  recording cheaply does not mean not working on the song.

I remember how some people griped and complained about how both Memory Lane CDs were made on CD-Rs.

$1M question-how many GnR fans are there right now? I doubt there were a lot left before Chinese Democracy finally came out.
