I know the typical "hip" teenybopper/20 something wouldn't be into her and doubt most wannabe music critics  would be into Deb or give her music a chance. When I post in another board, the replies would mostly be negative, ignorant, and only a few decent replies.

I also think that most on a nostalgia board take me as a joke since my recent thread (a recent interview about Camp Electric Youth) got ignored and now towards the bottom and a few months ago about 5 members ended up ridiculing and posting rude/immature comments about Deb and trying to make me feel bad or whatever.

On the "hip" board, I mostly  post  on the "bored" games (ie word links) whenever I feel like it. Originally I wanted to introduce other artists from past eras, but ended up with mostly replies like "Never Heard Of ____" despite that I've posted song links and a short bio on several threads. Then again, the majority act if popular music didn't exist in the 20th century.

Don't think anybody even listens to Deb in the "inner city".

Fans of actual pop music from somebody who actually sings and write/produces her own material  are missing out on a great artist.

If you were to  (re)introduce Deb's music to others, what songs would you reccomend?

I'm guessing those into older pop music, adult contemporary, into ballads, and open minded when it comes to music would enjoy her music.

I would just tell her to keep making the kind of music that she's good at, and that's simple but upbeat dance music.

A lot of Deborah's music you really got to be in the mood to listen to IMO, so to recommend to someone and they are not in that mood, pretty pointless.

Well, I wouldn't recommend her to someone that still thinks Britney is the real deal.  Maybe someone who once was a fan but is disenchanted with Britney.
