Noticed some tv movies/miniseries, specials, events, and even a network on Time's list.

Honestly should be placed on separate lists. (ie Best Christmas specials, tv movies, annual events, etc.)

Also a few British shows, though debatable since "Monty Python" is very well known. Not sure about UK's "The Office". Granted that it spawned a US version, there's many US shows that were also based on shows from England from "All In The Family", "Three's Company", and "American Idol".

Good to see a handful of cartoons, which wasn't well represented in TV Guide's list. Though could've added "The Flintstones", "Ren & Stimpy", and few I disagree on...

Cartoons ranked:

"The Beavis & Butt-Head Show" (1993 to 1997)
"A Charlie Brown Christmas" (1965/tv special)
"King of the Hill" (1997 to 2009)
"Rocky & His Friends" (1959 to 1964, also known as "Bullwinkle Show" when it switched from ABC to NBC)
"The Simpsons" (1990 to present)
"South Park" (1997 to present)
"SpongeBob SquarePants" (1999 to present)

Liked that "Married with Children" is on the list.  Cool

Still no love for "American Bandstand", "Soul Train", and not even "The Midnight Special". They were the main shows to watch for teens/young adults and exposed the latest in music, trends (ie fashion, dance) long before there was a network devoted to popular music.

I find it ironic that MTV 1981 to 1992 & "The Real World" are ranked on the same list since that show caused the network to jump the shark in 1992.

Too much 2000's era shows, some "flavor of the week" programs, agree/disagree on many, and indifferent towards most...

As for TV Guide's list, "Seinfeld" as #1 and "The Sopranos", which was fairly recent (though kissed upon by critics...which probably created the list) on the Top 10? Seriously?  Roll Eyes
