Deborah smoking?

I came across this by accident today. Could it be a case of mistaken identity?

If she was smoking, that person would not be the only one saying it.

I don't believe that for a minute.  Just because somebody posts something on the internet somewhere doesn't make it true.  There are websites that claim that the earth is flat and put out all of this "proof" to back it up but anyone that would believe that is one of the most gullible persons alive.

It does put the South West incident in a different light. However, it was probably just a case of mistaken identity.

I think whomever it was that reported that had to have her mixed up with somebody else.  There are three things that make me not believe it.  The first is that Deborah has always spoken out against it and I don't think that she would hide it from anyone if she had been a smoker all of these years.  The second is that people who smoke develop a husky and raspy voice and she sounds the same that she always has.  Third is that smoking can not only change someone's voice but it can damage their vocal chords and I think she's going to guard her voice with her life.  This is just like all of the other rumors and stories that we've heard about her over the years in that it just seems to be a claim made by someone without anything to back it up.  There's just a complete lack of proof and they seem to be the only one making that claim.

In any event, if a person decides to fill their lungs with tar and other carcinogens, that's their problem.

She did when she was 18 but after that if you go back and read her comments about that when she was in her 20s she wasn't saying that.
