"Foolish Beat" reminds me of "Careless Whisper" from Wham!. Though I read that Deb originally wanted George Michael to produce the track. (Is this true?)


"Your Secret" has a Jennifer Lopez vibe


"Broken Record Machine", one of Deb's earliest, is similar to Jackson 5 and shows her Motown influences

The beat from "Ton of Bricks" reminds me of Huey Lewis for some reason. Probably the bass.

"Love Or Lust" sounds like something Janet Jackson would sing in the same era (early '90's).

Kylie Minogue's cover of Little Anothony & The Imperials' "Tears On Pillow" is slightly similar to Deb's cover of The Five Satins' "In The Still Of The Night".

Bananarama's "Robert DeNiro's Waiting" and Deb's "Joey" kinda sound alike and have a bit of an oldies sound.
