Soemone posted on DGIF Sunday that they heard from someone who was on the cruise that one of her vocal chords burst and she had to have emergancy surgery.  The only thing they got right was she hand an injury too one of her vocal chords all Deb has to do is keep her big mouth shut for 10 days.  NO surgery was needed.  Reminds me of the old telephone game by the time the story came back it was all screwed up.

How come we never hear of these cruise performances in advance so that we may attend?

Hope Deb gets well soon.

She's usually a surprise guest so there's no announcement until she takes the stage.

I'm glad this is something that's going to heal on its own.  Vocal chord injuries can be career threatening.

From what I have heard from Deb's last cruise last fall.  She sticking with the pop goes broadway theme.   Those who would of wanted to go would of been disappointed because of the show tunes.

Yes, it was pop goes broadway.  There is some video footage on you tube.

Maybe Deborah doesn't like her fans so she says nothing so they stay away.

I don't know if you understand or not but.  This isn't like the Deborah Gibson exclusive cruise she tired to do a couple years ago.  The Atlantis cruise is something where they invite entertainers too perform and whom ever is on the week you book your cruise you see.   Deb has to play by Atlantis rules and not tell people.  I don't think she hates her fans cause if she did why did she take time too talk to me when she was in Cincinnati last April.  I was the only person there who walked up too her after the event was over after I collected my prize at the charity event.  She might get weird at times.  Plus she making this big fuss about seeing the Atlantic city show.  I think sometimes when she does get weird it might have to do with some of her issue she has.

Like if she doesn't feel like signing autographs because she's in a rush/too busy, tired, or in a bad mood.
