Top 10 toys that failed

CNBC has put out a list of the biggest toy busts of all time. Most of these I don't remember especially that Airport Security Play Set. If anyone has ever been through airport security before they don't do it with a smile on their face. That $50 price tag didn't help it either.

They forgot Bratz and the
Swing Wing
Milky the Marvelous Cow
Doggie Doo
It's been around for several months, but suprised that it's for real and not something from "SNL".
Not to mention generic dollar store action figures that fall apart.

I think that list was based on sales. Some of those were toys that the company invested millions into their development and they were a total bomb. Kind of like the Pontiac Aztek. I can't believe that GM executives ever gave the green light to something so hideous as that was. That was one of the main reasons why GM filed for bankruptcy. Build ugly cars and you won't be building them for long, like Edsel and Studabaker.
One toy that I can remember that was a commercial success but a tactical failure was Stretch Armstrong and Stretch Monster. They sold like they were made of gold but they didn't hold up well. This kid that lived in my building had one of those and it eventually came apart and all of that gel that they had inside of them leaked everywhere. That was a mess that didn't clean up too easy. I wanted one but when that happened I kind of changed my mind.
