Dee Snider & Debbie Gibson Collaborate on Upcoming Season of ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ [AUDIO]
By Kelly Ballhorn

Posted on February 7, 2012 at 12:01 AM

Well, we’re less than two weeks from the season premiere of “Celebrity Apprentice.” And two of its cast members former Twisted Sister front man Dee Snider and pop princess Debbie Gibson are both singers from the 80s, but couldn’t be more different with their personalities or their music.

New ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ Contestants Arsenio Hall & Aubrey O’Day Have Beef

However, we’ve learned this season that they will make beautiful music together. To clarify, they’ll make a song and not fall madly in love. However, judging by the photo we got our hands on, the odd couple do seem to be friends. The new season of ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ premieres February 19th on NBC at 9/8c.

Wasn't Dee Snider one of Deb's neighbors in the early 1990's?

Well, Deb have mentioned that she listened '80's hard rock  as a teenager in early interviews.

He might have been.  I know they are both from Long Island and it kind of seems like they grew up one town apart.  I don't know if Deb was ever into Twisted Sister though.

She did pretty good for herself last night.  Cheryl just couldn't keep up and that's why she got fired.  You could see some tension at first between Deb and Abrey.  They sort of rolled their eyes at each other at times.  Apparently they team up later.  I can see that I would have a lot of problems getting along with Victoria Gotti.  I thought it was funny when she said she could make somebody disappear.  She couldn't and she knows it.  I doubt she even knows that many made guys now if any at all and they aren't going to do any favors for her anyway.  The one thing though is that in the board room before one of the women got fired Deb looked slightly nervous and unsure of herself.  That's not a look I've seen her have very often.  I think she knew she wasn't going to be the one fired but she was sort of out of her element and it made her uneasy.  At least that's how it looked to me.

I would have considered firing Lisa because she was so unorganized and that led to the women not knowing exactly what their roles were.  But, Victoria Gotti's selfishness and her dropping the ball as bad as she did caused her to get sent on her way.  She should have been fired after the first show.

The women finally got a win.  I think the reason why they haven't until last night is because they seem to be more interested in one upping and competing against each other than they do in working as a team.  You could tell that both Deb and Aubry weren't too happy that they weren't included more in the job than they were but you don't always get what you want.  It looks like Deb and a couple of others are at the center of the fireworks next week in the boardroom.

Look intense next week. Well if she gets fired she will at least be hired by Ellen Degeneres. Today on the show she had George selling merchandise in the audience. She always wanted to be on Ellen so she will definitely be on sometime whether fired or hired.

The rest of the women had better watch their backs with Teresa.  That woman seems to be unstable.  She's a bully at the core and Deb learned a lesson in dealing with her.  You never try and make nice with a bully because they won't accept it and all it does is just make them come after you that much harder.  You have to get up in their face and show them that you aren't going to take their crap.  Looks like Tia is project manager next week so it's going to be her turn to take the abuse.  I wonder how she will respond when the others start critiquing her and challenging her?  Wait and see though, Teresa will make an enemy out of all the women and they will turn on her.  She's already got four against her.  Aubry is also highly jealous of not only Deb but Patricia, Dyanna, and Tia.  It's just really obvious.  She looks scared and intimidated at times.

Overall I would give Deb a B on her job as project manager.  Her team won and that's the main thing but she can't be a people pleaser and be a boss at the same time.  Sometimes people's feelings are going to get hurt but they have to suck it up and take it.  The women seem to have a lot of "me first" and whiners on their team.  She did better than Adam.  He was badly unfocused and that's why they lost.  Michael got fired because he didn't step it up when he needed to.  He was way too passive.  Lou is going to be project manager next week and he's on thin ice with the men so he needs to step it up big.

There are some people that love to post nasty comments on Deb's twitter page bashing her left and right and just living for her to be fired.  She gave it back to some of them too.  She challenged one guy to do better.  People like that are real losers and need to find something good in life to pay attention to.

I know. These people must have a lot of time on their hands. But Deb a class act and handle those people correctly. I haven't been watching the show but recorded this episode since I knew she would be PM and watch the last hour of it. I know everyone been praising Adam as PM but the guy's presentation was awful not that the women's was perfect either. The only thing I like about the guy's presentation was when Penn went into the trunk, good selling point. Not really a surprise the women won. So happy for Deb and even if she doesn't win the whole thing she should be proud of what she has done for her charity. Look like it is going to turn even uglier. Other small things, Deb look so much prettier with less makeup and hair naturally done and I find it cute that Donald keep calling her Deborah.

Deb will be a guest on Jay Leno On March 28th! She announced this on twitter this evening. Yea, can't wait! So I guess she survive up to this since what is the point if she get fired. Wasn't she supposed to be on a skit awhile back and it was cut off? I remember watching and did not see her. And I hope she get to be on Jimmy Kimmel since he seem to like to used her songs for his skits.

Other stuff about CA, I like how Adam stuck up for his team something the women don't do. I guess that how us girls can be catty with each other. Trust me I work with mostly women and we are like this all the time.  Grin

One problem-while admirable in most situations on TCA that's a BAD thing, as it shows (in Trump's eyes) indecisiveness. I really don't think Paul or Penn wouldn't been fired, so why not bring them in and leave Andretti to survive another day?
